U can still tell a story without cut scenes.
Either they dont have a vision for this universe after their writers left
Or theyre really bad at interactive story telling

Do you require all video games to have great stories? There's room for improvement, and I'm sure we'll see improvements over time. Bungie has 10 years of Destiny planned. They'll alter their plan, when possible, if they think it'll make the majority happy. More story should be last on the list. The loot/leveling gear is the main draw. We really need no context to enjoy the game. Maybe you can get some expanded universe books written for Destiny.

Edited by tombok90: 12/12/2014 10:34:46 PMIf thats enough to keep u happy enough to grind thats great. I unlike you need more content and story to grind. I am not a diablo player. Youtube destiny vidocs and see how what bungies vision for destiny was during development. ( these are videodocumentaries made by bungie during development). And tell me if it turned out the way they explained. (just checked a lot of the vidocs are now missing off bungies channel but u can probably find them) If i dont get hooked during the initial release, im not paying game after game, dlc after dlc hoping it gets better. Especially when the dlcs even without story has minimal content replaced by more bounties having you repeat the already minimal content in hopes for loot. I. need more than a loot trap slot machine to stay invested.
