I will give you that Skyrim and Oblivion's DLC's were pretty damn good. But just because Bethesda when so far and above everybody else for DLC, it doesn't mean that Destiny's DLC is lacking in content. Is the DLC for Destiny the best ever? No, but it's far from the worst. If you enjoy the game, then you will enjoy the DLC. If you don't enjoy the game and thought picking up the DLC would change your mind, then I'm sorry but you are incredibly naive. When you say "we" you are really speaking for yourself. Stop trying to act like you are some sort of advocate for gamers. I'm not defending Bungie at all, I think they have made some big mistakes with Destiny. However, I think people are getting so incredibly nit-picky anymore simply because they want to "fit in" with people on bashing the game. If you are that opposed to what Bungie is doing, then vote with your wallet and don't buy anymore of their products.

How about Borderlands. Weren't those expansions a *wee* bit more detailed than than this "major expansion?" Just a little, maybe? Wouldn't you think that considering the base game is finished, $20 would at least pay for 1/3rd the content of the original? The game should be at least 33% larger now in most respects? Thats not even true for raids since you lost any reason to do VoG. The game still effectively has one raid. "If you are that opposed to what Bungie is doing, then vote with your wallet and don't buy anymore of their products." You say that like people aren't. It was my mistake to buy the digital vanguard edition. Now I'm just getting what I can out of it before moving on to better titles. I can go grind a game that at least bothers to put their lore and story inside the game itself.

  • Borderlands was only more detailed IF you bought the $30 season pass. You certainly didn't get half a game with the Borderlands season pass. And if you want to compare apples to apples, wait until the 2nd Destiny DLC comes out. Then compare both "passes" to one another.

Each Borderlands DLC was $10. Each Borderlands DLC offered an almost entirely new area to explore and dozens of quests. I don't know about you, but I didn't complete Knoxx in 30 minutes, nor did Knoxx make the hardest areas of the previous game worthless. I really have no idea where you are coming from with this. Knoxx actually had new enemies. And I'm sure the wolves of winter will make up for this DLC, just like this DLC makes up for the entire lackluster main destiny storyline.
