I think the DLC offered plenty for the 20 dollars. No one cries when any, "Call of duty" DLC with 4 maps comes out.

  • Does anyone have links to any bungie post that specifically states it's anything other then a shared world first person shooter? Video from a conference or written post? Of course I've been sharing all the great points people participating in this discussion have pointing out, with my raid group. That was a question brought to me. And I have no clue lol HELP!

  • Call of duty: A multiplayer focused game with little to no single player tendencies. Where is there room to add anything other then new maps. Destiny: An RPGMMO with a focus on single player storytelling and cooperative gameplay. Destiny should not be compared to CoD at all, the only thing they have similar is that they're both FPS. When comparing content use an accurate comparison.

I hate when people compare it to cod. Cod has been robbing people for awhile ( i only rent cod and as opposed to most players, i enjoy their stories, (favorite mission was deciding whether to wax those civilians in moscow airport) and the 6 hrs of play, not worth 60 however) their map packs and add ons are complete robbery. Notice bungie got in a relationship with activision and has now adopted the same practices

  • is the DLC worth it? Eh not really imo but im glad you enjoy it though. Im honestly even more surprised about how many people shell out money for map packs and its even worse now with COD as i hear you have to pay for zombie mode...i mean thats ultra shady considering it came with the prior games. in any case, i am more disappointed/upset with bungie because reducing the amount i can do with what i originally bought because it was entertaining. I get that people who got the DLC should be able to do DLC content in the nightfall etc, however, if you look at the vanguard strikes, they took the rewards away from the people without the DLC (removed tiger strike CA Engrams) and put it only on the ROC strikes. From what i understand, the omnigul strike can appear in tiger, viper, eagle, wolf unless I am mistaken? So its basically them saying buy our DLC to get your better rewards. This is what it feels like with the nightfall/weekly/daily lockout, if you want all of your chances at getting loot buy our DLC because if you don't we are just going to limit you. Its like playing the free version of swtor...play and level up till 10 at a normal rate then after that its reduced experience. If you want to level at the normal rate...buy stuff! Its just shady business practice....at least thats just how it feels to me who hasnt bought the DLC. I would buy it if it just offered more.... ps the only dlc i have gotten ever is the borderlands 2 dlc as tiny tinas dlc was worth it, but i liked tiny tina and even if i didnt get the dlc, i wasnt limited in what i could do with the normal game. rant over...sorry if it kills your brain cells.

The difference is that they get what is advertised. Here we have an "expansion" that doesn't expand much. Yes, a few new missions (one of which cannot be replayed for some reason), two strikes (if you use PS), and a raid. Should we be able to finish all of the "expansion" in one day? I myself have not finished everything, I don't have the time to complete everything at once. Still, if I had one day dedicated to the PS4, I could do it. They should have just called it DLC instead of calling it an expansion, people thought they would be exploring new worlds, fighting new enemies, and getting new insight into this story that we so badly want to know. What we actually got was the same locations backwards with higher level enemies. Sure it's more to do, but I think it's fair to say we all expected more. Just to add one thing, I enjoy playing the game and have invested many, many hours into this game.

  • The DLC is overpriced for the content it gives. I have gotten more enjoyment out of $10 DLC for MMO's. The DLC isn't bad, but it's not really worth the money.

  • Ah, I guess everyone had different expectations as to what should come with the expansion. I however, am satisfied with the release. First game I've ever really gotten immersed in.

Yeah, I'm not crying about it because I refuse to buy it in the first place.

  • Destiny is not CoD. It is an MMO/RPG/FPS combo and therefore we expect more content in the expansion. Most MMOs (WoW, Ever Quest) and RPGs (Skyrim, Oblivion) have massive expansions. This was a major let down.

That's because almost every person with common sense left the game long ago.
