The amount they charge for the DLC 1 is equivalent to a three monthly subscription (higher than most). Ever Quest is £9 every three months and they are constantly adding new content. My Father has played it for 11 years!!! We paid £20 for three months on Destiny. I expect more content to reduce the mundaneness of the grind.
