[b]So[/b] many complaints are bombarding the latest threads, so I just wanted to pop in and relay the joy I have had from the dark below so far. It took us until 330 CST (I had been waiting like a kid on Christmas Eve all night), but raid team final assembled, we plunged into the hellmouth not knowing what to expect. Our fireteam consisted of players id ran through the VoG before in the past, but I had really high hopes for Crotas end, and initially was desiring a more cohesive group of guardians that had battled together before. As we started facing the seemingly endless waves of thralls, our first and second instincts failed us. On our third try someone spoke up and said "the lights remove the darkness stack, once we are no longer weighted down let's try to just keep running." We almost made it all the way to the control zone at the end, and within two more runs we found ourselves looking at the bridge fight. The rewarding sensation of putting together a group of guardians and watching us grow into a [b]fireteam[/b] overcoming new obstacles and challenges was the best gaming experience I have had in a long time. [spoiler]I still have story missions, new weapons and armor, two new strikes, [b]AND[/b] new multiplayer maps that I get to play as well. All for the low price of 20 bucks? Easily worth it.[/spoiler]
