So true, I first thought pre ordering was just to ensure you receive a copy of a game. For years now I just walk in stores the day after release and obtain a copy.
Pre ordering is a tool they use to ensure they get their invested money back

Edited by cyrus f51618: 12/9/2014 3:49:03 PMExactly. Nowadays there is more than enough stock the game ready on launch day. And even if that wouldnt be the case because lets say your shop gets flooded or something - you can now get a digital copy without leaving your comfy home.
