You (and others) chose to pay in advance for something you hadn't even seen yet, with no way of knowing whether it would be worth the money they were charging and, now that you've got it, you're disappointed.

"Ignorant" more aptly describes the behavior of someone who foolishly sprnds their money on something without knowing exactly what they're getting.
