The point was to keep people from buying rep. I would rather have a vendor selling upgrade mats, than the same vendor trading said mats for rep. You can't have both.

They could have just removed the rep gain.

But you could have the vendors accept both types of marks. Was that too much to ask for?

I meant using both types of marks to buy legendary gear and weapons. I can farm over 100 materials under an hour. Why would I want to waste marks to buy something I can quickly obtain? That seems stupid to me. You and others love it. What makes my point of view invalid? I want everyone to have as many options to obtain all the standard legendary items without forcing them to play it one way. That is what the change gave to you. It just removed a big way I and others played the game to get that gear. I don't understand why this concept is so hard to understand. Farming is one way to play a game that has items to farm. Some players like farming. Why make that game play obsolete? Is it to make the hardonic essence and other useless collections happy? When did more options on how to play a game become a bad thing?
