I'm sure we've all experienced it before, people simply standing at the start of a strike and going AFK, leaving everything up to the other two people or even a single person.
Its frustrating to say the least, but what solutions do you think could be implemented?
I feel some sort of "loot by kill" system would need to be implemented, not saying the more kills the better the loot, but if they do not lift their weight and aren't clearing at least 20% of the mobs or present during ALL darkness zones then maybe that should reflect on loot possibility/mark/reputation rewards.
This would encourage people to actually clear areas of a strike instead of running past and also stop strike sitters. The only downside to this I can see is the disadvantage it would give a level 24 compared to a level 30.
It would also eliminate people coming in late and receiving rewards that a lot of the time are undeserved (although this generally doesn't bother me).
Any other ideas? It's obviously an ongoing issue.
Why not just implement a vote kick system.
Or just simply leave the group. I have no problems leaving a group if the other people are pissing around.

Vote kick sounds good on paper but, the problem is you will have people abuse it. You will have a group that will boot someone right at the end so their buddy can come in and claim the reward.

The vote kick of an afk will be much more common than your scenario. I have had 3 strikes in a row whrn one or both other team members stand at the start and dont move. If they havent gotten to me by the first restricted zone, then they are afkers and I leave.

I started doing strikes for marks yesterday. I ran into the same problem regularly. However, I have seen the scenario I mentioned in several other games and have been victim to it. With the amount of trolls we have here (just read the comments on some of the threads) I'm not so sure the AFKer kick would be more common than the ditching someone for fun. Something should be done though.
