My main complaint as cleared up with edit #1 is only about preventing access to 4/5 tower vendors unless you bring though PvP. Level 30 or 32 isn't the point either. Since day 1 I was happy avoiding PvP that I don't care for, using an ALTERNATIVE WAY to be able to BUT THE WEAPONS AND ARMOR I WANT TO USE playing the game MY WAY. Removing the mats for rep/marks now forces players like me to either grind though boring PvP (our opinion not yours) just to get the legendary weapons or armor we like to use. Since Crucible Gear doesn't exist there is no reason to force that currency on 80% of the vendors. All vendors should accept both marks. I'll even give you Crucible rep still needs to be obtained in the Crucible. I think we all should play and enjoy Destiny as we see fit. If you want end game gear then you need to grind through IB or the Raid. You shouldn't need to for typical legendary gear. If you want PvP gear then ask Bungie to make it since not one of the 5 vendors sells it. If they did someone who plays PvE wouldn't want it in the first place.
