We demand a skill based system!!!

Rewards System?

18

Dear Bungie , we Guardians demand a completely new system of how we get our loot in the Destiny Crucible. I'm coming from the fact that the people the go 3 and 15 each match will most likely earn either a pair of blue engrams, a strange coin, or even a legendary engram!!!( that happened to me once lol). And the pros that go 28 and 4 sometimes get nothing at all!!! Now does sound fair to you? What I ( and probably lots of other people ) want is a skill based system where the highest K/D players get the best loot for that match. This would give that pros the loot that they rightfully deserve and would persuade noobs to actually get better at the game rather than just to go AFK or try to use a scout rifle because they think it is the best gun type in the game. Please vote and comment you opinion down below in the comments.

Anything lower than K/D of 1.5 will leave you empty handed. Anything with a K/D of 1.6 - 2.0 has a chance of giving you a "Rare" class item. (Engram/Mote of Light/Strange Coin etc.) Anything with a K/D of 2.1 - 2.9 has a much higher chance of giving you a "Rare" class item. Anything with a K/D of 3.0 - 3.9 has a chance of you giving you a "Legendary" item. Anything with a K/D of 4.0 and higher has a better chance of giving you legendary, and tiny chance at an Exotic. This is how it's should be.

    • I feel like it should be dictated by total score. And to be compared to your team. Obviously the losing team should have a lower chance at getting loot, but only a slight chance, like the worst performer in the winning team only has a slightly better chance than say, the third worst in the losing team. That way there's incentive to win, and not just play the game. And score is way more important than Kill death ratio. Going 6 and 2 may give you a 3.0 K/D, but at the very least you would only get 600 points for your team, that's without melees, headshots, assists, supers or captures, and in my opinion all you did was get pulled. While players like me can break 4K with a 1.5 or above, it wouldn't be fair for us because while we're trying to get score by competing objectives, there will be punks hiding in the back trying to max their K/D. Ruining the already a bit sloppy PvP.

      • This may sound assholeish, but i dont mean it that way. I understand when you say skill you really mean k/d. I say that because i dont see it as skill, more as practise, luck, and motor skills. Yet an overhaul needs to be done in the pvp system, as it seems to shell out prizes based less on the higest score but more on participating and being not so great. Yet it seems a general overhaul of the number generator seems to be in order. However giving prizes based on skill tends to leave out those who do not do so well, which would spark an uprising from them. The best solution is to create a system allowing players spend a token gained upon the win of a pvp match to purchase an engram from the quartermasters. This will allow those who have contributed and those who have not to purchase an engram randomly of rare or higher quality o that everyone has the chance. Thus the aspect of "skill" is appearant via teamwork. Then create a system within the system that allows you to spend more tokens for a greater chance at an engram that will pop out ledgendarys or exotics. But i dont really believe in skill outside of real life applications. But yes overhaul is needed.

Scout rifles are the best imo. Auto rifles are for people that can't aim, pistols are for gays, pulse rifles are the worst and scouts out shine all I take down snipers with my VoC as well you have to actually aim though ... Noobs deserve engrams ...

      • There definitely should be a better rewards system! When I was doing the final part of the bad juju bounty, I was first place on my team every game and didn't get shit!
