Well.....let's put aside all the issues around time to raid, no friends etc. These I should be able to overcome if I jump in so to speak. The real issue is that I don't have a live gold subscription and never have had! I have a pile of games I've played over the years, nearly all FPS because it's the genre I love to play and I've enjoyed Destiny as much as any, more in some cases but I've never played multi player, ever! I bought Destiny thinking it would be open world FPS, never occurred to me that it would be so heavily based on co-op but that's okay because I've really enjoyed my solo journey and it meant that Destiny might just be the game to interest me in multi player, you never know. Thing is, it just hasn't yet, £40 per year isn't a kings ransom but if I did buy it I would then need to think about those other things like extra play time (wife already thought I'd left her when it first came out) then finding friends etc etc. But hope isn't lost yet, haven't played in a couple of days but haven't put down yet.
