2 for losses and 3 for victories. Not 5-7. Each crucible match is about 10-12 minutes on average. 5-6 matches an hour. Max marks? 18. 60 minutes farming, completing bounties and public events? 150 mats, 3 or 4 blue engrams, 20 weapon parts or armor parts and a couple shards/energies. Nobody seems to have noticed how bungie dumped a ton more mats in world in the update before thanksgiving. Why would they have done that if they were going to make them almost useless a week later? I don't know, maybe you do. I personally play both, PvE and PvP, but the option was there if I was a few marks shy of getting the gear or weapon I wanted without having to waste a half hour in the crucible playing Firebase Delphi for the 6th time in a row. For all of you who keep complaining about the PvErs complaining about having to play the crucible, remember this when 3 members on your crucible team are doing the congo line while you're getting your butts handed to you because of them. Nobody likes being told they have to play a game the way someone else does. How would the PvPers love having to complete a 6 mission bounty before they were allowed to play a match in the crucible? Every day. Exactly. Oh what an uproar that would be.

I'm sure they're going to add it back after seeing all the complaints. I personally never used that and nobody I know did either. I was way to busy using my materials to upgrade gear.

  • I hope so. I have a feeling that Activision had more to do with this than Bungie did. I feel Activision is the push behind all of the steering towards the crucible, more so than Bungie. I believe Bungie actually thought they were making a game for everyone, PvP players AND PvE players. But Activision wants to maximize their investment. It's sad because I do really love this game, I and alot of other solo players are feeling like we're getting pushed out of the picture. On a side note, how can anyone that have read this thread or any other thread in these forums, still think random matchmaking wouldn't cause problems? There is no civility anymore and these forums really highlight that.
