If you're dead set on avoiding pvp like the plague, why do even care about leveling your crucible level? The weapons and gear aren't any better then the stuff the vanguard quartermaster sells.
I think it's perfectly reasonable for bungie to make players looking to increase their crucible rep to actually play crucible. Stop complaining.

Oh I see, the vanguard vendor sells the same weapons and armor (stats and perks) as the other vendors. PvP gear sold by the default vendors doesn't exist, why force people to use PvP currency to buy it? I wish these dumb replies would take the same amount of time doing a little research to know that their statements are asinine.

No, but he sells extremely comparable weapons and gear. So if you absolutely must have something from lord Shaxx, why don't you man the f.uck up and play some pvp to get it, instead of wasting your time here complaining about how you have to actually ENTER the crucible to get crucible gear
