The in-game economy is just...-blam!-ed up. You got too many currencies here. The game even contains meta-currencies in the form of black wax, ether seeds, etc.
Is it this way for a challenge or is it this way to attempt to guide player actions on the game?
Who knows, but a simpler system with no caps would suit this player.

Well Black Wax/Ether/Etc are really more like buffs. But I agree on the marks in general - it's weird to now have a huge portion of the game that offers currency which only one out of five vendors accepts.
-
I know what they are everybody. I have never seen such a thing in a game before though. I hate it. You shouldn't have to use special items to get Gl drops from enemies. You guys don't understand meta, but yes I've mentioned how life is simpler with one type of currency myself on here.

You've never seen a currency buff in a game before??? They're crazy common in MMO's. And you don't need them to get glimmer drops from enemies - they aren't necessary ... they just increase the amount you can get. TBH I find them rather useless unless you are using them to specifically farm like ultra mobs. Very much like XP boosts which are more effective with bounty drops than actual kills. Since they're timed based, you get more bang for the buck with larger rewards.

Edited by DoktorBoar: 12/3/2014 4:57:58 PMShit, it goes beyond buffing. You get nothing from the ordinary minions without it. It's a screw over. It's like having a "glimmer pass card" Getting "gillionaire" in final fantasy was a buff.

I agree. too many materials and what to do with them especially when you can only "carry" 25,000 in glimmer. Why the limit? The only thing I enjoy from this last update in the "relic". I loved Fable 3 and this reminded me so much of it.

Edited by DoktorBoar: 12/3/2014 4:43:55 PMTo guarantee that players will be forced to grind. If there were no caps, I wouldn't have to glimmer grind all over again to buy things like iron banner gear. It blows ass. I

Ughh... Black wax, either seeds etc are not currency. They're consumables. Granted they help u make money... but in it of themselves, they are not currency.
-
They're should be another way of using them. When are you going to allow people to exchange "gift" items?

Edited by DoktorBoar: 12/3/2014 2:55:50 PMHence you do not know the meaning of the prefix meta- http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta Frankly it's just another layer of complication to slow down players progress.

I was off for a while, was it different before? Explain please.

Nope, although I do edit posts a lot instead of making new ones, my first post was untouched for over 2 hours before you replied. You can see time and edit info in the upper right corner on every post.

No I meant on the game. How are the idols, seeds meta currency since by themselves they don't make u money. They only act like a multiplier.

In the game, you never get anything for dropping regular enemies without using one. It increases the existing glimmer from legendary yellow bar monsters by 1.5 or something. You basically need them to even get glimmer at all.
