Is there honestly anything -that- amazing from the faction vendors that you're getting this upset? You can get pretty similar stuff from the Vanguard, but honestly, all of the good weapons are from the rank up package. The armor is just there to tide you over til raid gear, ya know, the PvE set that is the only way to actually get 30.
As far as events I could probably guarantee that if the Queen's Wrath wasn't so horribly executed we would have seen a second version of it. So their original plan most likely wasn't for a 2:1 ratio. But, just to point out that is one singular event more. One. Take it easy and enjoy what PvE content there is, but stop acting like having optional gear that isn't even that great being tied to PvP is a horrible thing.

Edited by p9ul: 12/3/2014 7:31:22 AMRe the faction vendors - I can't say that they sell anything of note. I have, however, had a couple of drops that are very interesting that the vendors do not stock (at least I think they don't) A dead orbit arc fusion rifle which feels better than a Plan C and I've barely started to upgrade it - plus a FWC pulse rifle. Basically I have all the weapons I wants to buy, as the drops I've had have been better, anything available for sale is inferior to what I've been given for free...

That's the point though. The stock models really aren't anything special, while the free items can be great. And the free ones can be gotten through whatever means you desire. Hell, even the shaders (although their a very low chance) aren't linked to crucible.

The upper damage limit on a rare weapon is 242 when fully upgraded, legendary is 300. The original screenshot I saw of pocket fusion had it at 396 - truly exotic yes? Now legendary, exotic & raid weapons are all 300. Suros may have felt higher (330?) which to me, is how it should have been for exotics - now it's been downgraded to a "limited edition legendary" Raid weapons are now the true exotics...
