I think your right I was mistaken on that one. Even with less marks you'd earn 10 marks in an hour if you loose every match. Still quicker than farming materials for an hour.

Disagree, I could easily farm 100 mats in an hour, get tons of random drops, public events and beacon tasks. This is a millions time more enjoyable to me. It may be the worst thing for you but before the patch we both did what we liked and this post never would have been made. After the weekly reset I could max out on Vanguard and Crucible Marks for one Guardian immediately. You couldn't do that with PvP I bet. I was even close to do that for 2 Guardians a week. Now I got a ton of mats that do nothing for me at the moment.
