If you don't play Crucible you shouldn't be able to get Crucible marks. There was no way for people who only play crucible to get vanguard marks so this seems like the fair thing to do. If you refuse to play a portion of a game that is your right but don't expect to get the full experience and all the loot when you do that.

Your right to a point sir. But im afraid the OP has you beaten here. Havnt you noticed every update till now has gone in the PVP favor and basically stuck 2 fingers up to the PVE players.

Don't be a PVP or PVE player just be a Destiny player and enjoy the total package. I play every part of this game like most people and have been happy with the updates. It sucked that when they nerfed Vex Mytho it became useless for me in PVE but as someone who played PVP I understood it had to be done. If you don't play every part of the game it's hard to see the entire picture. So don't make this a PVP vs PVE thing and realize Bungie is trying to improve the entire game.

Im not trying to create a war between PVP.PVE. Im just pointing out the fact that so far the people benefiting from these updates are the PVP.

Bungie updates PVE stuff all the time but most PVE exclusive guys hate them because they cut out ways to cheese raid bosses.

You could exchange materials for vanguard marks at the vanguard quartermaster. Without having to ever do a pve mission, just going around farming.

My farming was always done in conjunction with my patrols so it wasn't really anymore time consuming.

I must have missed that vote. I don't recall ever seeing that matter ever put to a vote and for the record there have been several items which Bungie nerfed/buffed/patched which didn't get much write-up on this forum.

The vote was taken in the feedback forum by all the people including myself who asked Bungie to eliminate tedious material farming. Bungie then realized that farming was making a lot of people not enjoy their game so they got rid of it. Just because some people don't mind torture that doesn't make it alright to torture the rest of us.

Why so upset? Why characterize farming as torture? As I and others on this thread have already stated it's easy to do especially if you use the various farming routes for which their are numerous videos out.

Honestly, this was really more of an analogy than a direct comparison. If you found it easy good for you. I found it to be pointlessly tedious. Why do you have a problem with something you found easy getting easier?

Maybe now you can see why the OP is upset. What worked for him before is now something he can no longer do. And that's part of the problem with many of the patches Bungie has rolled out since the get go. They appease one group, but anger another.

This makes no sense. You only need to farm for 5 minutes to aquire the materials needed to upgrade weapon/armour. Why substitute exchange of materials for purchase. You can make 10 materials by the time your kettle has chance to boil if you know where to look.

If you have no clue how long it takes a kettle to boil, then its obvious your intellect ranges from the time you pick the kettle up to the half way you make it to the sink to fill it up.

See in America we have these things called coffee pots that we use to boil all our water for beverages. The boil time in these very's greatly depending on the amount of water you want boiled in this hi-tech contraption. I actually agree lol I love not having to farm anymore. I was just pointing out you could buy vanguard marks. Farming made this game so bad for me. I hated farming.
