Is it really PVP gear if it's been attainable through PVE since release? I say no. IB gear is the only real PVP gear. Making all faction gear PVP-exclusive is a huge shift. I don't care who gets level 29 gear. They'll just need to replace most of it with Raid/IB/DLC gear eventually, anyway. Source: I play PVP for my marks, but sympathize with the farmers. Bungie is quickly contracting their audience with this game.
