If u don't want to do crucible.
Then you don't deserve CRUCIBLE gear and weapons. Keep ur ass at the vanguard or get good.

Because the knew if they didn't, they would have to do the raid to reach 30. And they wanted to feel special, and be 30 like other people were. Yet you tell PVE players if you want the gear, play the mode? Irony and hypocrisy at its finest folks.

Actually, the main reason IB became light 30 was because the items were standard legendary and thus not worth buy from the vendor or for that matter leveling the faction. Making the reward worth something is standard for enticing people to play a game mode. Pvpers didn't complain and ask for raid equivalent. They ask why should I play iron banner If the rewards are not worth the trouble. Also the set up was trash.

I wanted thorn I did crucible and didn't bitch about it. I have two thorns now. Like i said play crucible for crucible gear or stfu. And this is coming from someone who has way too many raid gear pieces, 3 full sets and a ton of spares. I'm a main PvE person. I learned to do crucible to get what I wanted. If ur too damn lazy to learn then u don't need the crucible gear.

vZ Virus, exactly. There are certain rewards behind every activity and people are complaining that you need to do those activities to gain them. Two things: 1 - Bungie said raiding isn't the only way to get 30 when TDB launches. 2 - Vanguard is getting a big boost in variety to their items. Add in the rumors that new confirmed vanguard weapons and armor is replicating many of the faction items, the rumors of 'manufacturers' showing up with their own gear, and the rumors that the Queen is going to also have level 30 gear, there is a lot of potential routes to get stuff soon.

Yup. I wanted IB rank 5 for the gear and weapons even tho i didnt need it and was ALREADY lvl 30 and dislike crucible. I got IB rank 5 and bought everything. U want the gear.....put in the time for it....if ur too lazy to learn it than guess what ur gonna miss out.

Why don't you brag about it? So did I, so did everyone else who enjoyed the iron better. This guy, however, doesn't like to play against other players. So, what does your comment have to do with other people who like to play the game differently than you do? Earning some kind of standing in the crucible is not this guys priority, so letting him have some gear that he wants without having to do the crucible seems just fine to me. You act as though it makes your accomplishments seem less important. You realize this is a different person than yourself right?

Because that was the system that was set up. He found a way that he likes to play. They took that away from him for no reason apparently other than to placate people like you who are very very concerned with the way that other people play their own game.

You have a weird opinion on manning up. I'm pretty sure when you Man up it doesn't have anything to do with playing a video game. Look man, I like the crucible but this guy doesn't and it doesn't change anything for me if he's able to get gear through other means. I don't know why you seem to be so threatened by his ability to have done that in the past but it doesn't seem very sensible to remove a feature from a game if people, even the minority, were using and enjoying it.

I do agree that if he's going to go into the crucible he should at least try to win. It's annoying if you're playing a team game to have someone on your team stand around doing nothing. But if he wants to do that in rumble I guess I don't care.

That's what I'm saying....PLAY crucible if u want the gear. Don't play like trash cuz ur mad and screw ur team. He isn't gonna do rumble cuz he will lose every time and won't earn crap for marks and rep, hes gonna go play shitty in team modes hoping his team will either carry him while hes bsing them, or just bs them so he can feel better about not getting his way.

But we did establish that he wants to screw over other PvP players. And that is done through team modes, not FFA, he would actually help the other players if he BSed rumble which defeats what hes trying to do.

Yep, you're right, he 's going to ruin team games, and he 's not the only one. That sucks. He 's a jerk. But you know what ... This is what happens, Bungie should have thought of this. Things were just fine the way they were. Adding options is just fine but when you start to take away options people will find a way to screw with the system even harder. It's going to make crucible just a little bit more annoying with a ton of people who don't actually want to be there.

And that's why he shud stop being a baby and learn to play like everyone else. Yes its changed. It sucks. Screwing over teams won't put it back to how it was. So adapt like everyone else, PLAY the damn crucible, and stop bitchin if you want the gear. End of story

Ok, but in reality it won't work that way and we'll be seeing a lot more idle players who just want to get a couple marks but don't want to pit any work in. Meanwhile, they'll be eating a sandwich and watching TV and then switching back to the game during the commercials so that they don't get kicked. I suggest being able to buy from any of the factions other than the crucible handler with other options for payment. That would at least cut down the BS to about a fourth or fifth of what it is going to be.

Really you are going to say someone is scared of a game? Stop being a pompous ass and understand that for some people pvp just isn't fun. Bungie should be adding more ways for everyone to get what they want in game not taking them away.

Raid gear gets you to 30, there are no vendors that get you to 30. Also, the factions only have a little bit to do with the crucible itself. Dead orbit has absolutely nothing to do with the crucible.

Yea dead orbit has nothing to do with crucible. How do u buy their shit? Oh yea with crucible marks. Better check ur knowledge on that one. U can't get raid gear without doing the raid, you can't get IB gear without doing IB. You can't get crucible gear without doing crucible. That how it should be. Time to adapt.
