I understand that feeling XD
Combine that with the perk that lessens the recoil the longer the gun is shot though and after around 20 bullets when shooting in full auto there's little to no recoil at all. It's great!

The thing about Epilogue and Praetorians is that even though Epilogue will tear through their void shield, it really doesn't deal TOO much damage to them. I would still stick with using a heavy to take them down. You might find yourself being downed trying to kill them with the Epilogue because it takes awhile to bring down their health due to low impact but high rate of fire. That basically means they can just teleport right up to you and smash you in the ground while you're shooting them... Source: Been there, done that...
