I think what he's trying to say is more like this, but I could be wrong. As a PVE (who hasn't enjoyed PVP since MW3) we actually enjoy farming and knocking out patrol missions even when there's not a bounty. The only way we can use the factions is to spend crucible marks. It's a slow grind but players like us don't mind. I'm good with most of this update. My pocket infinity is glitchy but other than its all fine. The only change that I would like to see made is let us spend vanguard marks with the faction vendors. Problem fixed for everyone. PVP doesn't have to farm, PVE can faction up. I can see where still selling mats to the vanguard quartermaster would still work but even in PVE I get over 100 marks from strikes, etc.
