You can't be serious. Why should you be able to get crucible gear without playing crucible? Just because it was possible before with the material exchange doesn't mean that it wasn't a bad idea. That's like a PvP only player complaining he has to play the raid to get the best weapons and gear. If you want something do what's required if not stop bitching.
I play a crap ton of Destiny both PvP and PvE so don't think I favor one over the other
• So you're ok with PVP having 5 vendors and PVE having 2? That seems "fair" to you? All we ask is that the Factions accept Vanguard marks as well as Crucible marks. I can't tell you the amount of patrol missions I've done for the factions yet I'm not allowed to buy anything with the PVE marks?

  • Yea I'm actually fine with it. I play PvE primarily and the only weapons I use are raid weapons and exotics. Rarely I'll use a faction weapon but only in PvP. You can get faction weapons and gear from packages and nightfall if you really want that gear without actually playing crucible.

  • What makes Crucible gear PvP gear? I see no special stats for PvP. If it was PvP gear I wouldn't want it but it's not. I want the weapons and armor to enhance my play style. I'm not asking for Iron Banner stuff, just access to standard legendary gear. There shouldn't be separate vendors if their items are not specifically for PvP or PvE. I also think crucible and vanguard currency should be accepted by all standard vendors. Just add a penalty like 150 vanguard and 5 crucible and vice versa for weapons sold by one vendor. Mix it up so we don't need to grind in an area some of us absolutely hate. Looking for solutions not vile comments that do not add or help people with complaints. Maybe if you haters add constructive suggestions or comments we may have overlooked it could sway us to give it a try. Right now why would I try and do my best when so many PVP lovers spew trash at legitimate complaints of PvE lovers. I also don't like it when PvE players spew the same hatred. That accomplishes nothing but more divide. How about we try to advance both sides grips/complaints and push for changes to give all of us what we like? Here's one good thing I saw, the hive's sword is fun to use on patrol. That is a cool addition from the patch. See, a positive comment isn't that hard to do if you try. Come on, you give it a try now...

It's PvP gear for several reasons. One it requires crucible marks(duh), two the lore states that the factions want to gear there champions for the crucible, and three most perks on the armor and weapons sold by the factions lean towards PvP use. I love PvE a lot I probably spend more time playing PvE, but complaints like these seem completely unwarranted. Look your entitled to your opinion same way I'm entitled too think your being a whiny bitch. Could I be nicer about it sure if I thought your argument had any merritt.

  •
What makes Crucible gear PvP gear?
Um...maybe because the Crucible is...I don't know...PVP? There are no special stats for standard Crucible because it's "Level Advantages Disabled". Which bears the question, since you already know the difference between Crucible and Vanguard gear is cosmetic at best...why do you want the stuff from PVP content? If you do want it, it seems a bit too logical that you'd have to play PVP content to earn the rep to get it. I see no reason why Bungie has to bend to your whim. If you don't want to do what's required, why should you get the spoils from it?

  • You get it and I notice that the ones who share his views haven't had much experience in the raid either. I can only wonder what the hell they spend there time on.
