Correct, no one playing Crucible has a brain. It's why they couldn't figure out picking up material while busy doing other things was more lucrative than sitting around in Crucible (as you'll no doubt notice nearly every pro-Crucible argument starts with their perceived "speed" or "efficiency"), and also why they are amazed so many people are upset over this. They can't grasp that sheer acquisition speed of marks is irrelevant because the speed is ultimately limited to 100 per week, so any time spent waiting for marks in Crucible is time they could have spent just picking up materials while they were making further progress.
Go ahead and continue that blathering tirade though, it's a wonderful bump to a worthy thread.
