You could start by applying your advice to yourself and try to act as a thinking living being. What's it to you if players don't want to play Crucible? Have you ever thought that they probably don't want to deal with your kind of players, obviously narrow-minded, and most surely the first to whine at noobs when they end up in your fireteam? Before the patch, we had the choice to exchange mats for Crucible marks. It gave some sense to patrolling the planets, giving PvE players access to more vendors and, surprise!, giving them a reason to do the patrol missions and bounties in the first place. Now, PvE players have to do Crucible. Are you going to be happier because you find tons of them just sitting idly in a map, waiting for their mere 2 Crucible marks? Will you whine less against them PvE players? Will you enjoy more the Crucible? I guess not. You'll just insult PvE players more, posting again a message stating that "if you don't like PvP, just practice or shut up". Time to grow up and realize that, without PvE, Destiny is nothing more than a CoD clone. And a very bad one at that. Deal with it!

I like PvP, but this game fails with it's you must do this or you must do that attitude. Bungie needs to let players have freedom but they're too -blam!-ing stupid again.

I beg your pardon? No one in crucible has a brain to think with? Cause running PVE content requires so much brain activity or what? And before you start off by calling me a PvP nerd etc check out my profile as I have maxed out Vex and Raid helmet which means I do PvE aswell. The only one here without a brain is this Red Frog which is a not so rare breed of stupid. As for all the comments above except the OP in this subthread, you are all not helping your cause.

Correct, no one playing Crucible has a brain. It's why they couldn't figure out picking up material while busy doing other things was more lucrative than sitting around in Crucible (as you'll no doubt notice nearly every pro-Crucible argument starts with their perceived "speed" or "efficiency"), and also why they are amazed so many people are upset over this. They can't grasp that sheer acquisition speed of marks is irrelevant because the speed is ultimately limited to 100 per week, so any time spent waiting for marks in Crucible is time they could have spent just picking up materials while they were making further progress. Go ahead and continue that blathering tirade though, it's a wonderful bump to a worthy thread.

There you go assuming I play crucible for marks... see that is where your fault is and ultimately where your argument fails. We who play PvP on a regular basis are doing it because we think it is FUN even though it has it´s bugs and so on. Fun is the main reason and marks are a bloody bonus. Also the whole running around in circles in a PvE map collecting materials is mindnumbingly booring (to me at least and ALOT of other people aswell) but you don´t see me cry about that cause it´s a part of the grind that Destiny and so many other games have. I just sense you have animosity towards PvP players and your reply and posts are seething with it. In closing the aquisition speed of marks is not why people play crucible for the most part, most play cause it´s FUN and the longer lasting content in Destiny atm. Anyone who plays Crucible for marks only is a sad person indeed because they don´t like PvP. But yet again nothing says that you HAVE to get the faction gear cause the Vanguard gear is just as valid and more wellrounded to begin with aka suited for PvE. The fact that you lot of people haven´t figured it out already why Vanguard and Crucible vendors are separated and use different currency is a testament to this whole discussion and that your argument is flawed. PvP people have brains, you sir on the other hand have one but it is severely damaged and you might want to have a doctor prescribe you something to increase it´s functionality. And yes feel free to reply as this is indeed a worthy post, only people like you put it to shame.

Where did I say you played Crucible? I don't recall even looking at your profile, I truthfully could not care less what it may or may not contain. Yes, a few of my posts are seething. Animosity is my natural state when dealing with people that can't write, can barely read and wouldn't take the time to critically analyze if they even bothered. Have you been reading half the junk getting posted? I can't even give benefit of the doubt that most of it is just trolling, the same things are posted ad nauseam with varying degrees of illiteracy. Some people can't even distinguish between rep and marks and, for the life of them, can't figure out why people are so upset about losing the [i]rep[/i] turn in. It's all tiring, only to be compounded with the fact that both options should exist but they think having both will give their aunt's neighbor's cousin's dog herpes. So, sure, they went to their side of the room and I'm comfortable with mine. Far as the gear specifically is concerned, you need different pieces from different places (assuming you're going to buy it instead of relying on RNGsus) if you've spent any time learning a class. Hunters can do without strength as throwing knives are worthless and invisibility is pretty close. Titans get more wiggle room although discipline can be overlooked since their grenades are usually terrible. I don't really know about Warlocks but I don't play one so they're probably perfect. Just buying one full suit from any specific vendor is a shame at best, although it's not like it's optional now. I'm not really in this for me, I have what I need. I'm just fighting for those to come after me, to be forced into Crucible and not have a chance to see how decent Destiny was before Bungie decided they had to fix everything that wasn't broken.
