Good. Force the players to actually participate in the pvp to earn marks and get pvp gears if they want to.

Remember those words when "forced" pve players start showing up in matchs and start messing around with scoring. If I played pvp Id be sure to make my team lose every time.

I may just run from control point to control point and see how many times I can get killed and earn my 2-3 marks per round because I can no longer run from chest to chest or material to material to turn in for marks. I only want marks to buy gear to turn into shards or energy. Or maybe I will let my 8 year old run around on the crucible maps to get my 2-3 marks per round oh yes that sounds like a better idea. HOPE ALL THE PVP PLAYERS ARE HAPPY WITH THE CHANGES TO THE GAME THIS WEK.

Edited by BLACKMESSANGER: 12/3/2014 3:10:00 AMHey dam that's a good one I think I will let my 4 boys play for me and see who can die the most and give out a big loot chest for the winner I mean really I don't care I just want the marks I will let the PvP players on my team pick up my slack ..... Thanks Bungie ! you r the best
-
With that mentality then we should force players who want world materials out into the world.
-
Pvp players are the biggest complainers once we pve players start playing pvp because we bring down the game and we suck if we are on your team. My normal kills are 1 to 3 and I might get that many assists so I know I suck. I die 10 times more than that want me on your team now.
-
Oh you just wait I am going to the " BEST BAD PLAYER ON DESTINY " or at least I will try my best to be... they should have never made it so I have to come in here to get my marks....
-
Bad idea. I've been playing Crucible. Haven't helped anyone. Don't plan on it. In fact I'm making it easy so the other side wins so I can move on to the next match. I'd rather be on patrol bothering no one. But there we are.
-
Yep that sounds like me I have to say I like your thinking.....
-
See? User problem.
-
Rarely is it ever good to force someone to do something where there is a chance they can be an ass about it. Pvp dancing groups may become a form of protest.
Rarely is it ever good to force someone to do something where there is a chance they can be an ass about it. Pvp dancing groups may become a form of protest.
LOL. :-) then we'll ask for ways to customize our dancing moves... wonder if xbox kinect folk could dance in real life & have their char match their moves... ;-) Personally I suck at dancing, so I'd be less embarrassing with the canned moves. ;-) (On the original topic, I'm with you guys. I enjoy doing patrols and pve at my own pace, and hunting for new places they hide stuff, then being able to collect n sell for VG marks & rep. I really hope that option comes back)

LOL so funny I might take it up funny
-
That is a good idea......

Bungie is just enforcing their ideas of 'earning' the gears. Why not ask Bungie to get Xur to sell raid gear? So that those pvp players can get raid gear instead of just ib gear too? Earn the gears by participating in the activities.
-
O don't you worry about that I will .... I am going to give them a big punch of ASSE-NESS LoL
-
The other vendors gear isn't raid gear nor is pvp gear. PvP gear is pvp gear. Plain and simple. Crucible gear is sold as crucible gear by crucible vendors. Iron banner was a crucible event that had crucible gear. This was all geared for pvp play not pve. The gear is good for pve but better for pvp. Raid gear is best for the raid which is pve, hence why you can only get it in the raid.
-
Stats and perks determine what's good about equipment and what it's useful for, not vendor placement.

Edited by Beyond Evolution: 12/2/2014 3:23:27 AMYea, flood PvP with people that don't want to be there. I'm sure everything will be better that way. Into PvP or out the door, right? As long as it doesn't effect you, who cares!
-
PVPers complaining about having to go into PVE for mats then get their way while telling others they need to earn it.
-
Don't forget all while glossing over the fact that nothing in Crucible is earned anyway.
-
Well I mean if you want PVP gear it would make sense to have to play PVP to obtain. Not rocket science
-
No one gets this lol. Obtaining crucible marks should have to be done by crucible. Otherwise why call them crucible marks?
-
Yeah, I just got a RNG full auto shotty with void damage tonight, I'll be mr popular in the crucible ;-)
-
I like PvP and get no benefit forcing you to play it. This forum is nuts!
-
It's not a problem with the game, it's the problem with players. Greedy and lazy players to be specific. The type that hate pvp BUT they want pvp gears. Work for your shit instead of whining. You choose not to play pvp because you either hate it, dislike it or plainly suck at it, that's fine but don't come crying why you can't get marks for it alternatively.
