Yes this is starting to get bad, for the first time i am thinking about leaving this game behind. I dont want forced down a path, if you want me there you need to make it more APPEALING. I like playing this game the way i choose, not being forced into PVP.

Yea....I'm getting ready to leave the game also. Waiting to see if Bungie (DeeJ just lies to us all the time) is going to address this issue of Material for Marks.....if they don't bring it back, then I'll probably leave the game behind. Already downloaded the last DLC for Battlefield 4. I also have the new COD...just to play with my friends.

I agree with you. I don't like PVP at all. Never have. I don't care if others want it they can have it but I just don't want it. To me it is all a choice.

We dont care about the rep, the marks were the reason. Now its forcing us to play pvp for crucible marks. As bad as the pvp lag can be, i liked the option of just getting a lot of materials and trading them in for crucible marks so i didnt have to deal with the pvp

Ohhhh I see you used to get 5 marks for 50 materials that's a -blam!-ing joke lmfao. You can play 1 pvp match in less then half the time it would take to get 50 materials and get 5 marks.

Maybe time isn't the issue? Maybe some people are just not fans of pvp in general or just the pvp in this game? So if someone loathes pvp they now are forced into it if they want to buy gear from the factions...

If you have a chest route, material acquisition is a breeze. I have one for the cosmodrome and venus. And i would rather be doing public events, bounties, and killing enemies when they swarm with friends, than deal with the lag fest and watch people who do bad in the crucible get the good items. And the bounties are a good way to get faction levels up and thus a good chance for legendaries, chests have a chance also, which is more optimistic to me than finishing a map with a decent score knowing that someone who might've afk'ed stands as equal a chance of getting something good. With pve i get the satisfaction of my hard work meaning something unlike crucible.

Yes, Fusion Rifles and Shotguns at the ready!!! PvE players are coming for Crucible Marks!!! Kill them all, send them off of our PVP game! And that's why I don't play PvP. Shotguns and Fusion Rifles!!!

This! I have a route for each planet. I could easily acquire 50+ material in like 15 or 20 minutes all while completing bounty missions and praying to RNG-esus while killing enemies and leveling my gear up. Bungie has gone retarded... I really hope they fix this.

If you max out your marks for the week you'll only get +25 rep and no marks... if that is the case.

Say you get at least 2 marks per PvP game. It takes 12 minutes to play one game...do the Math.....farming is much quicker.

But that's the thing... some of us don't want to play the crucible. But, now we have to in order to gain crucible marks.
