So after the update came out I immediately took off to clash to test out both weapons THORN: faster reload, nine bullets, faster handling, 2 shots plus Mark Of D to kill. VEX MYTHO: Returned to old glory, It singes people like bee-outch, lower mag size not a big deal!. So lets discuss, are these two the best now or is there still something better?.
EDIT: THANK YOU GUYS
EDIT: So many responses thanks XD

1 ReplyThorn was a 2 hit weapon before bungie screwed it up
-
1 ReplyVex should've always been the ultimate exotic and they over-buffed Thorn
-
15 RepliesThorn, even with it's previously slow handling and shallow cylinder, was manageable in PvP. Now with it's recent buff, lots of people are going to want to try it out again. It shouldn't surprise anyone to see that it's really good now, because it was never really that bad.

4 Repliesanybody think thorn is now viable in raid..?
-
1 ReplyHawkmoon still dominates as well...
-
4 RepliesI still love my fatebringer with a 13 mag and arc DMG along with firefly.
-
10 RepliesThe Vex got a 7 damage increase. It went from being a 5 shot head shot to being a 5 shot head shot...
-
Two words for people who complain too much and or are bipolar about this, EASILY BUTTHURT
-
2 RepliesMonte Carlo is now pretty op because of that crazy stability upgrade
-
12 RepliesLol. Vex is still far garbage to all raid weapons, excluding praedyths junkpiece

1 ReplyThe vex mythoclast is back..... ugh
-
5 RepliesHeard all the fuzz about Thorn, havent lvl'd it yet cause I really dislike it before. I guess I should take the time, seeing as the improvements were kinda big, however I'm not sure its gonna beat out my TLW, I am in love with that gun..

20 RepliesIn my opinion thorn was over buffed. It should have been left as is just with a faster reload and returned mark of dead damage. Lower recoil, higher clip, lighting enemies up when hit in addition to the faster reload, mark of dead damage and the already excellent accuracy/range and above average hipfire and you get pretty much the best handcannon in the game

1 ReplyThe rise of Thorn and VM hipsters!!!

33 RepliesAll thorn owners know how painful the bounty was. Especially the crucible part. I'm a fairly calm gamer, not casual, just calm. I found myself screaming at my television because of how frustrated I was. And it doesn't get any easier in the next parts. For the trouble of the bounty, the newfound power of thorn certainly is fair. Secondly, vex mytho is the "hardest weapon to get." Damn right it's overpowered.
-
Good thing i have both. Not sure vex is that good in pvp as some ppl mention it to be. I mean its ok but not that awesome..
-
I have both and they are beasting right now :-)
-
4 Replieswhat about hawkmoon with the new faster reload? :)
-
Pretty sure the mytho didn't get a PVP Buff.
-
3 RepliesI have still yet to get the thorn bounty. I have received the same 3 bounties( juju, s.g.a, and pocket infinity) 5 times in a row.
-
The Thorns amazing i use it over the mythoclast and to those having trouble doing the crucible part of the bounty go on rumble it took me 4 games. the last part took the longest.
-
1 ReplyStill not as good as hawkmoon but close

12 RepliesI got absolutely massacred by the Vex in Control last night. The first few times as I stood in awe of it's pew-pew and forgot to actually move out of the way. I genuinely didn't mind though. My k/d is so bad that I no longer get angry at being killed, and knowing that I was up against someone who'd completed the hard raid enough times to drop the Vex was pretty cool. As an aside, I've recently dropped Atheon's Epilogue and have started to attempt the crucible portion of my Thorn bounty. Anyone else struggle with this weapon? I feel like i'm not going to be able to master it until I have the stability upgrade node locked down as it kicks like a mule.

1 ReplyUse Thorn if you want to kill your enemies in 3 shots or less guaranteed.
-
1 Replyvex no not really.
