You would make a great motivational speaker.
If you aren't already.
The thing is, that would be true if this were real life. But it's not. And the fault lies with Bungie, because there's nothing to do. I don't spend $60 so I can make my own fun. I pay for it so they can give me my fun. That's not to say I don't expect to put in work for my fun though. I've played all of From Software's Souls games, and I'm extremely proficient at every one of them. I've put more hours into that series than I feel comfortable putting into text, but it's mostly because it held my attention for so long.

To each their own. I won't fault you for finding something enjoyable. This is the problem with the industry today. They must have ALL the money meaning they need to homogenize a game as much as possible so that it applies to everybody. The problem is, this doesn't work. Everyone is different and has their own definition of what's fun. I enjoy the mystery Destiny provides. I like putting in the work to understand the world around me. I'm not content to always sit back and have my exposition handed to me. I'm not saying your wrong for wanting it handed out to you but I will say that if that's what you're looking for, Destiny doesn't have it. We all have our own ideas of what's fun. Activision trying to force us all in the same game won't work.

I don't mistake a lack of content for the presence of mystery, though.

You seem to have confused Mystery for something else. If it's not told to you directly, you must investigate to find out what they mean from the clues they give you. Nothing is Obvious.
