And he says it 150 hours after...
Really, if you hate the game just go, lot of people will stay, we are enjoying the game. Destiny > Halo, anytime, Halo is fast-food, Destiny is a light sci-fi ARPG-FPS with some basic MMO elements and sandbox exploration, I am sorry if you didn't research your stuff before you bought the game or it's not your favourite genre, but I am really glad they had guts and didn't make Halo 2.0

All I have to say is "But before I begin, I'd like to say that Destiny is a good game. It's just that it could have been so much more..." He never said he hated the game. Learn to read please. You are not debating, despite how much you would like to believe you are.
-
No, he doesn't hate the game, only writes a long winding post mocking it. I read great, dude, it's easy without the hate glasses.
-
I wrote a long post because I enjoy writing.

Edited by LoboFH: 11/29/2014 3:14:51 PMGreat, 150 hours, a nice subject for creative writing, Hey, Destiny was worthy after all. Listen, Destiny is far from perfect, I have been angry with the randomness, the long grinding to top and the lost oportunities like everybody else but some enjoy the game and we would like if we are not called: fanboys, apologists, A-holes, idiots with little brain, etc, because of it. If you hate the game so much leave and look for something that makes you happy, easy.
-
Well you must have enjoyed the read as you got to the end Oh you didn't? Be quiet then
-
Did you see inside your magic glass ball that I didn't read the OP?, be quiet then.
-
Destiny Fan boy lol. halo> over this half baked cake of a game
-
The forum is full of apologists like you, it's not a complete game and lacks content, pvp is the only reason I'm still here, but I'm getting bored.
-
The forum is full of Rome Popes like you, who believe they own the universal truth. I love the game, am I stomping your freedom to dislike the game?, no, respect my right to like it.
-
Edited by slingerw: 11/29/2014 4:55:28 AMReally you say the gamer has 150hours therefore he has no to right criticism.(read your opening statement) Blam off, forum is full of apologists like you, its a skeletal game, mechanics are great and the only thing keeping me here, but it's not enough. Edit. Your insinuation in regards to your opening statement Edit2. Add your air of superiority, you don't belong in a constructive argument, your just a fanboy/girl talking bs. Edit3. You got my goat so let's go, you blatantly haven't played a fps mmo rpg because nothing of that ilk currently exists, but it was advertised by Bungie before release.(look at the stuff online, I'm not on your fire team so I'm not going to do all the work for you) We didn't get that product, but we got a beta with potential instead, I have the right to criticism after investing hours(FYI blam the money it's purley detrimental at this stage) of my gaming time to the game. Your either a casual gamer (and I hesitate to use the term Gamer) or can't comprehend anything more complex than tetris, why are you here? Isn't there a raid you should be cheating?
-
bla bla bla, ad hominem this, ad hominem that. Pathetic, amigo.
-
Oh yeah, the incoherence puzzles me, you hate a game but play hundreds of hours and pester the followers in the oficial forum. When I dislike a game I leave it fast and I don't look behind. Call me strange.
-
Clearly stating I like the pvp elements, and if I didn't like that aspect of the game I wouldn't play because there's nothing else to do. Yet you chose to not only add your "informative"post to an op who had alot of constructive things to say, but had nothing constructive at all in regards to my opinion, instead berating players who invested time into a game, but according to you have no right to criticism, and accusing me of pestering players who openly entered into a debate on an Internet forum. You are a idiot.
-
Research the game? What was told to us at past E3's is much different than what was delivered.
-
Are you joking? If Halo was "Combat evolved", Destiny is surely " Halo (sorta) evolved". Even the enemies are ridiculously the same.
-
Yeah, and one is a corridor shooter with null replayability + PvP and the other a sandbox FPS with RPG and coop elements, try to be a little bit objective.
-
Edited by ILLBlood23: 11/29/2014 9:42:33 PMCorridor shooter? Halo (Bungie) pioneered sandbox elements on consoles.
-
Not true, Codename Eagle, Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, GTA III and a bunch of PC RPG titles pioneered sandbox. Halo is not a sandbox, it has some wide arenas, no doubt about it, but it's not open world and its story is linear. Some people is complaining that Destiny is not a sandbox, Halo is way more linear.
-
Edited by ILLBlood23: 11/29/2014 10:24:46 PMThose are all PC games, and GTA isn't even a FPS. I was specifically referring to consoles, and yes Halo 3 ODST as well as Halo Reach were sandbox video games. Corridor shooter (to me) is Call Of Duty (any of them) and Medal Of Honor, KillZone and Golden Eye. Non Linear stories are not a requirement to be considered sand box
-
PC or consoles, doesn't matter, Halo didn't invent sandbox because it wasn't a sandbox and because there were sandbox before. Halo has wide corridors and arenas but never was a sandbox like GTA, Assassin's, Far Cry, etc. Destiny made the next step, even if it's not a pure sandbox either.
-
Edited by ILLBlood23: 11/29/2014 10:37:59 PMI clearly stated "pioneered on consoles". Halo didn't have to invent anything, before halo there wasn't a single FPS ON CONSOLES similar to halo
-
In terms of FPS consoles copied everything done on PC previously, so OK, Halo was a good pupil of PC pioneers.
-
But at least Halo has a great and epic story ;)
-
Edited by Ibex: 11/28/2014 11:00:45 PMIf you think the few feet of padding along the corridors of this games circle maps makes it a sandbox, stepping outside of your room must overload your simple little brain. Glad you have something you can enjoy :)
Try not to be an insufferable A-hole
-
You are the A-hole with little brain if you can't hold a debate without insults. So it ends here.
