Receiving the thorn bad juju invective bounty bounty 12 times in a row is not random either. There is definitely more than just rng happening in this game.
Also; the four exotics I've gotten from nightfall, patience and time, truth, void fang vestments and now plan c, have all been xur items that same week. And two other times I ran it with my gf, last word, and truth also the SAME week. Not random.

But I have recieved other bounties than you, completely random, just like the guns I've recieved in nightfall have NOT been the same guns Xur has been selling. So now we are two people with opposing statistics and numbers, does that proove that RNG is working, or that it's not working, or that it's working 50% of the time... is it just proving the the word random means just that, random. It's like people that I like steal money from in Poker games, that believe that they have a higher chance of winning a hand just because they lost 2 hands in a row.

Edited by PompousGoose: 11/28/2014 4:02:39 PMI just think it is not totally random. I think there are modifiers to the "randomness" if that makes sense? Every exotic item or bounty is not equal to being awarded 100% randomly at a particular time or place (or other variables). There must be a set of algorithms at work behind the scenes that change some outcomes. But yes, you could most definitely be right. It could be 100% random with no "if then statements", and I have happened to receive an incredibly rare incident of receiving the same bounty 12 times. And the same weapon xur has sold each week.
