Bungie wouldn't intentionally screw over 1/3 of the player base with the same thing over and over. It was proven Xurs wares are not selected by Bungie when people were rolling their clocks back to see what Xur sold before the games release. He is coded to select his own wares.

 • Agreed, he was probably coded that way, however the codes obviously glitched.

 • I absolutely agree. He was coded by a 100-level college course programmer and it shows haha.

 • How does seeing what he sold in previous weeks prove that it wasn't manually selected by an employee?

 • There would be no point wasting man power to select Xurs wares for every week before the games launch. The list goes back past June. Like someone stated before, some exotics are weighted against others. That's why you see the same thing over and over when it comes to the armor slots. Again, if bungie actually selected these wares, they wouldn't choose the Voidfang Vestments sand Sunbreakers that many times over. To think they have some prejudice against warlocks is just plain paranoia and ignorance.

 • I haven't made any assumption about a prejudice against warlocks. I understand your reasoning that it would be a waste of man power to select old wares, but this is as assumption based on our limited, external knowledge. That said, the old wares do support the assumption that it isn't manually selected. They don't, however, prove it; especially considering remarks that I've myself witnessed Deej make about a guy in the office that he talks to for information regarding Xur's upcoming stock. While this also doesn't prove anything, this does support the assumption that it could be manually selected. We're left then with only two facts and equally valid assumptions: There is a history of Xur stock predating the game's official release. There is an individual at Bungie with foreknowledge of Xur's stock.

 • Because why would an employee choose stuff for him to sell during weeks that the game isn't released yet for?

 • Yea because bungie doesn't play their game before realse not mention any secret testers and the beta and alpha all of which xur took part in?
