The guns change every week but not the armor? Bungie what's up with that?

Guns have repeated, way more guns than armor pieces. Law of large numbers at work

When was the last time he sold a gun more than one week in a row?

Not in a roe, but he has sold guns more than once. With more guns un the pot to pick from the chancesbof a week repeat are lower (1-20) i believe, where as armor is only a 1-6 chance and as he sells from each class pool it is actuialy a 1-2 per class per armor type, and the armor type its self is a 1-3 of repeating
