Legends dont become legends through legendary gear; they become legend through legendary deeds. Like you said. Kabr. Toland. Dredgen Yor. Do something legendary. Save your team from wiping in a nightfall or raid. Carry a game in crucible. THAT is what "become legend" means.
I am so sick of people twisting the meaning of those words. No one is going to make you a legend. Not bungie, not Xur, no one...but you. You want to be a legend? Do something about it then.

I did it, others have. No point. Nothing is rewarding in this game. People who literally can't aim or understand map movements are level 30's. Give one example of how to do this.

That's not what he's talking about at all. I carried the majority of IB games I played and usually do in crucible. No legendary feeling. Instead I get messages about stop being a sweaty try hard when I'm just playing.

The thing is, those aren't situations created by the developer. If the best you'll ever feel in a game is through a chance situation, then something is wrong. If you've ever played Dark Souls, the game is full of stuff that makes you feel epic. Every boss, every level, every victory makes you feel like a badass, like you accomplished something.

Have you ever played Dark souls? you could go through the whole game with shit loot drops off of mobs but at least there is some Guaranteed drops that make it possible. Destiny's loot system is not chance it's chaos. Dark souls boss fights take time and strategy but Destiny boss fights (outside the raid) are just about who can pull the trigger on there color coded panic button first.

and what about those two guys who cleared the raid on hard by themselves. THAT'S LEGENDARY but where is there reward or recognition. let me answer that for you.. NOWHERE. they got jack shit for there accomplishment and then some joe shmoe who killed a 1000 knights get recognition instead. This guy is right. there are no legends we're just nobodies. you're a nobody I'm a nobody everyone is a nobody. cause i assure you that if you took your own advice and succeeded you know exactly what he meant when he said there are no legends here.

They are legends. We still talk about them to this day. Thats recognition. Anyone who wants more than that is greedy.
