I'd really like to see "defend the walls" mission. A public event where hundreds of enemies are present. I want to feel like a protector, like I'm fighting for those that can't fight themselves. They could even do world wide buffs or announcements when certain bosses are killed (like in WoW) for the first time that day.

This is kind of what I expected when Destiny was being marketed to us. I played Defiance, which was pretty rough around the edges, but had these crazy public events called Arkfalls. You'd see 50 other players on screen with you at once. Then I find out PEs are basically you and some other poor schmuck who has the misfortune of needing more spinmetal. They're predictable and boring.

This is a great idea Why can't we come across people needing help on patrol. The kind that needs multiple guardians and takes a huge effort. Not like a public effect that takes 5 minutes. Wish there were puzzle like missions too. The kind that require thinking and strategy, not just mindless shooting.

Love this idea. I want to be overrun by yellow-bar Cabal. I want the Gatekeeper's goblins and hobbies to come at me by the hundreds. I'll even take Fanatics and their green goo all over Ishtar Cliffs with no hope of cleansing. An army of Captains, with various over shields... Yes, please.

Something like this would be so awesome.

ikora rey and zavala both say things like 'quick send a division to the south wall. an attack is coming soon' so it may be already in the works zavala: 'come on, strike, throw yourselves at the wall and be slaughtered' or something like that. priceless.

Keep dreaming.. Bungie will never do anything that their fans/money machines want..

Yep. Something dynamic. They could even set a weekly goal for all guardians combined or something like that, ie. X amount of enemies killed minus guardian deaths in that defend the wall/line thing. If we succeed, the "line" would be further away. If not, it's closer and harder the next week. Anything to make us care or try instead of "I want that one gun everyone else seems to have already".
