Literally every part of a being is consumed and assimilated by the Gravemind. None of his victims die, they just become part of him.
So "spirits" don't matter.

Yes it does. The force isn't attached to the body. It's attached to the spirit. So yes, he could use the body as a puppet, but it wouldn't be able to utilize the force to its full potential.
-
He doesn't just use the body, m8. Something tells me you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about when it comes to Halo.
-
Something tells me you know nothing about starwars. You seem to think the force can be matched by any form of technology. The gravemind assimilates all of its puppets into one collective intelligence. Am I wrong?
-
You have not brought up anything about Star Wars that I didn't already know about. Yes, the Force can be matched. And yes, the Gravemind does do that, but it doesn't just assimilate the body. It assimilates everything about the person. everything. The ability to use the Force would not be exempt.
-
I PMed you.
-
You don't just gain the ability to use the force. You can't. It's based on midochloridians and on the spirit. If you have none of either of these, then the force can not be utilized.
-
Midichlorians are biological.
-
Yes but they have a collective conscience, which is the force.
-
But if they are biological, they can obviously be assimilated by the Flood. That isn't even questionable.
-
Yes it is, because they're controlled by a supernatural force. That's like saying a God can be controlled by a priest.
-
God isn't connected to Humans through a biological system. The Force doesn't discriminate.
-
Hmmm good point.
-
Yes it would. The gravemind can't assimilate spirits. And no the force cannot be matched. Its what connects all life and is essentially a god. No weapon can defeat or control it. It is indefinite and insurmountable.
-
Infinite technology=matches the Force. Also, Neural Physics is essentially the Halo equivalent.
