What exactly is a casual player? If you think about it, aren't we all casual towards entertainment generally?
Casually reading books, casually listening to music, casually watching films and TV.....and casually playing videogames for a few hours a week, maybe some days more than others, and some days not at all

Being casual or hardcore really has nothing to do with how much time you play games.

Edited by MightyJonE: 11/25/2014 12:22:47 PM8 hours a day?! I knew I was setting myself up for a post just like this! lol! If you're a teen or in your 20s, I can imagine you could, but it gets increasingly difficult to put in those kind of hours from about your late 20s, unless there are mitigating circumstances

true. I might get 2 hours during the entire work week....on the weekend if I literally have nothing to do, have already paid bills, cleaned the house, went to the gym and prepared food for the week...then I play

I work 60 hours a week and have a thriving social group, but i still find the time

Looking at the figures, how do you fit in 8hrs a day playing games if you do all that? I can only assume you don't live alone, which takes the strain off doing the usual mundane things every day, or you don't sleep much! :D

I sleep for 3 hours a night on week days

I read books intensely to the point my wife thinks I'm angry at the characters but no it's just my intense reading face,

Well said :)
