Modern plasmas are very burn-in resistant, if you notice, the super bar and weapon icons in Destinys HUD are so bright and solid, even modern plasmas have trouble. This is an issue I took seriously, and only I went above and beyond to prevent, wiping my screen after every gameplay, so on and so forth.
