I had exactly the same problem. I stopped playing destiny 3-4 Weeks ago, because the image retention was getting severe. After 2 weeks it was gone. I will not touch the game untill this opacity option will be implemented. I was planning to buy the DLC-s, I'm really glad, that I haven't got the season pass. I really like the content of the upcoming DLC, and I'm sad that I can't play it. It would be a simple option to prevent the image retention, I am almost sure, that Bungie could code this option in about 2-3 hours. They just don't seem to care enough. People already mentioned it after the Beta!!! Nobody wants to take this problem serious. I read several forums about this, the comments are mostly from arrogant fools saying that nobody buys plasma today. It's just sad ...
