use what ever weapon you want, don't let the player base tell you how to play your game, you paid for it play it how you want. Personally i don't do a lot of PVP not because i suck (i might) but because i don't enjoy how the Destiny community want to Nerf every decent weapon. Only time i have spent in the Crucible was for my exotic bounties.

It has, I spend as little time as possible now playing destiny because every time I get a decent weapon some PvP player cries about it and bungie give in. Thankfully GTA V came out
