That's the sad part, though.
-
Especially the part about pulse rifles...
-
They're my favorite on top of things. But hey, it's a hard knock life.
-
I would use pulse rifles more, especially in PVP, if they had a faster firing rate and/or did more damage The fact that a pulse rifle can be outgunned at long range by an auto rifle makes me wonder by Bungie hasn't buffed them Red Death especially. It's firing rate is too slow for its limited range imo. Plus that recoil makes it a bit hard to land all shots to make for a 3 burst kill...

I am quite experienced with Red Death. The words you speak are true. But it's my baby :) You have to really work on it, but 2 good shots and bodies drop. I'm probably not good enough with it yet, but I'm gonna keep working!
-
I much rather use my Fatebringer than the Red Death I tried using the Red Death again recently and went negative 3 games in a row

Pulse rifles seem like a commitment gun. You gotta practice to get a good feal for the individual gun. And lose it if you don't keep practicing!
-
And even if you only exclusively use pulse rifles and are a god with them, expect to be sniped across the map by the suros regime, have your ass kicked at mid-range by hand cannons, scout rifles, and auto-rifles, and be r@ped at close range by shotguns, fusion rifles, auto rifles, and hand cannons
