My only complaint with the game is the reward does equal the task. This leaves you with any unsatisfied feeling after putting in the time and effort. This leads to people having negative feelings toward the game and long term is not in the best interest of the franchise. Please don't try and tell me about RNG, I completely understand RNG and it has it place in the game AND in my opinion can be very fulfilling when you finally do get lucky. However, there needs to be an exception in regards to what is in the RNG pool for more difficult tasks like Nightfall and Raids. When you beat Atheon the pool of items for RNG should not include plentiful or cosmetic items like shards, energy, sparrows, ships and shaders. Those can be in chest leading up to the boss. If the pool included ONLY raid weapons, raid armor and exotics, I believe more people would want to play more often. For those who will argue then every will have raid gear and raid weapons, not necessarily! There are four pieces of raid armor for normal and four or five weapons (maybe more) plus exotics. This means you have to get lucky often and still grind the raid, but will not leave feeling completely dejected because all you got for the 19th time is chatterwhite and shards! (Yes, I’m bitter! LOL) As for Nightfall, the main complaint and it is especially mine as well, there should not even be an option in RNG pool for anything of lesser value than you get for completing the weekly strike. Nightfall is inherently more difficult due to the fact that you die you go to orbit and start over. Being more difficult the reward should not be less, more. STRANGE COINS SHOULD NOT BE AN OPTION! Again, the RNG for nightfall should only include legendary and exotic equipment. Final reward should = difficulty of entire task.
