Yeh, like the black aura coming from the blocked doorways under the moon? Like it. Your tainted exotic just gave me an idea.... What if they contain weapons that already exist, but the stats and perks are crazy. So take Suros for example. That thing fires slowly at later levels, but what if this tainted version has a rate of fire like Hard Light? It could also have a poison perk like Thorn's or an always active radar. And it has a dirty appearance, as if it's been lost in the void for years. Or not :D
