A little lootdrop I made. Also in Cinema 4D. It took hours to render due to the transparency, but it's just a dumb fun little project.
I'd like to see a real black engram dropped though. Would be fun and filled with rage

you can also use anti-asiling if you plus a sky box hdri texture to bump up the detail but it would probably double the render time.

I couldn't find a good HDRI skymap for it, and I need to redo the textures a bit with specular for a more HD feel. And I really want to redo the floor as well. The drop is just a regular physics with just the bounce and friction slightly edited. I've done a lot in After Effects as well though, mainly for the transparency-alpha glitch in Cinema

aaaaa ok. Have you tried using a shader or outliner texture like a pen texute to outline it? And I linked you in the post. No problem :)

Yeah I tried it, didn't look that great. The transparency is too buggy for that. I just need to find a way around that once. Mainly how the transparency on objects just messes up the alpha-renders sometimes

that looks great. Are you using a custom velocity on the drop animation of it or are you using a Physics tag only?
