Depending on the brand, it might have an option for Pixel shift, I have a 42 Inch Samsung that is getting old and I have pixel shift every 1 minute and the hud hasn't affected it once. Now when I leave my screen for a few minutes though and controller disconnects it burns in for a few. A hud opacity shader would be an excellent idea, but for now I would either turn down game brightness or cell light on your tv, or change your picture mode all together.

  • Thanks for the good post. I have my pixel orbiter on, and my brightness very very low, sadly I think it's too late. I'm hoping this feature is added, not for me, as I'm fairly sure it's too late, but for many other gamers that will benefit from it.
