I have a Pioneer Kuro 50" plasma with no burn in issues. Mind you No current TV LCD can touch the Plasma Refresh rate.

  • Be mindful as you continue to play Destiny. My Panny VT60 had over 1000 hours on it before I even start playing Destiny, and even with precautions like lowering my brightness and contrast, and wiping for hours after I play, I still have very bad, maybe permanent HUD burn in. Please help keep this thread up so we can get an opacity slider option for the HUD. Many games have this, Destiny needs to be one of them.

  • I have nothing to worry about.. My Pioneer is at least 6yrs old, purchased it brand new. I have played lots of Xbox games on this Plasma since I have owned it. no issues. I did have the TV professionally Calibrated ( ISF) since day one and a retouch up two years ago.

  • Congrats on successful gaming with a plasma. You may want to chime in on some debates going on in this thread over how some think wears plasma owners are irresponsible for playing games on plasmas, not the developers for lacking simple features such as HUD opacity settings. Please keep posting hereto help bring the issue to Bungies attention.
