Every time I did a nightfall I just did what everyone does and sat in the same spot where it was hard for enemies to shoot me and pressed a trigger for 20 minutes is that hard? Was it hard when I got Hard Light in the crucible? -blam!- no I did well but I could have gotten last place and still gotten it. The point is when something is based on chance you could have put in 1 day and gotten lucky and got two exotics while I could play for a month straight and only gotten 1. That is not fair 23 coins is a grind it is doing a lvl 28 mission twice plus 5 more coins through your precious RNG if RNG is the way to earn I got my coins through that and grinding for that many coins through RNG is equal to one exotic trough RNG plain and simple. Do you expect me to get something that is part of the game and never spend it?
