1. Halo Wiki is a fan site, and is not canon.
2. The article is outdated in the light of Halo 2 Anniversary.
The odds of Truth knowing the portal to the Ark was there is highly unlikely, and given the size of the fleet he commissioned, it certainly indicates that he knew of the military presence at Earth.
