Corvo Attano?

Okay, so I can't be the only person who noticed, but I haven't seen any discussion about it. I think a fair amount of inspiration for Destiny came from Dishonored, at least in some aspects. When I first tried the beta I immediately felt some significant similarity. The mobility was heavy yet fluid and it accented your sense of presence. The menus had chunky sound effects and visual indicators. Every little mechanic was reminiscent. Now I picked Warlock because I liked the sound of the class abilities, and lo and behold the starting subclass was titled Voidwalker.Voidwalker. I thought to myself "What a neat coincidence haha." Then I got to reading some of the perk trees and one caught my eye more than the others; Blink, "a short distance teleport". If you're familiar with Dishonored then you know Corvo's instant teleport ability is called Blinking. Fast forward to the actual release of the game and sure enough after unlocking Blink I discover that your guardian clenches his/her first to activate it, identically to Corvo. Other little things throughout the game rang similar bells for me, like the snap-to for the melee attack (for Hunters particularly) that looks and feels exactly like Corvo's counter attack moves. Also, the aim assist feels the same as it was in Dishonored, but at least you could turn that off lol... Lastly, the spark that finally made me want to post this: The Last Word. I think it can be agreed that this gun is special to most people, but to me it is especially special. Upon buying it from Xûr (thanks pal) I noticed a peculiar blue dot under the barrel, and a faint blue glow from the back of the chamber. Minor details, yes, but one of my sharper memories of Corvo's gun was of the odd, blue ring around the top of the barrel. It's practically the same hue and shade. Additionally, upon being wielded your Guardian will flip The Last Word in a cowboy-esque manner, just like Corvo always did, albeit in a different hand. All these things together make me think Bungie in the very least meant to tip their hat to Dishonored in some way, and for good reason. While it is an entirely different genre game it is a masterpiece with great features and general design and I think Bungie knows it too. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to go continuously Blink while switching to The Last Word over and over again.
The Outsider walks among us!
