You don't EARN anything with RNG drops. It's luck. I got Gjallahorn from nightfall last night. Did the other two guys do less then me? Did I "EARN" my Gjallahorn while they only earned SHARDS or Blue Engrams? No don't be ridiculous. The only way you actually "EARN" anything is by getting tokens from defeating missions. You get more tokens for defeating tougher missions and doing more and more missions. Then you can then spend those hard earned tokens (which is the only thing you can actually guaranteed earn from a mission) and spend it upgrading your gear. Go cry some more about some having the same weapon you got lucky winning.
